ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Shay Klassen, a designer and painter from Vancouver, BC with 5+ years of industry experience. I am currently looking for work in the design department on a 2D or 3D project.

Since starting my animation journey in 2018, I have had the opportunity to work as a background painter, color key artist and environment designer on many amazing projects. I have recently spent the last 2 years as a Lead Designer at Kickstart Entertainment on The Barbie Mysteries for Netflix.
